How to select your Chandelier?

Here are the top factors to consider when making your purchase:

- Ceiling height

- Area of home and room size

- Shape and style of the chandelier

- Furniture underneath and surrounding area

When selecting the size, multiply the height of the ceiling by 2.5 or 3 to get the ideal height in inches of the chandelier. Many of our chandeliers are adjustable upon installation – we recommend seeking advice from an electrician. For chandelier hanging, make sure the light is at least 2.5 feet from the surface of the table or island top.

From bedrooms, to dining rooms and kitchens, Chandeliers will work in any room of your home. When it comes to Kitchens we recommend to not place your light over a heated area such as a hob as heat may cause damage. Bathrooms are becoming a popular area of the home for Chandeliers, fittings must be IP44 rated for bathrooms so insure that your Chandelier is bathroom safe before purchasing.

As statement pieces, Chandeliers will often be the focal point of your room. Placing Chandeliers near windows and mirrors will add extra shimmer, while a room with minimal natural light will have a warmer glow instead.

Multi-tier lights make for a statement and are an impressive addition to wedding venues and hotel foyers. Alluring, charming and showstopping, Chandeliers will always be the definition of statement lighting.

How do clean your Chandelier?

To maintain the original sparkle, we recommend giving your lights a clean annually. With Chandeliers being fragile and delicate they are prone to damage, here are few tips on to keep your Chandelier clean while preventing damage:

-  Use a feather duster or muslin cloth to gently remove any dust. We don’t advise using water or additional cleaning products as this may remove any coating that has been added to protect the fitting. Crystal cleaner can be used, however, please check if this is safe to use with your fitting before applying.

- Replace any light bulbs that have blown and if LED light bulbs can be used with your fitting we recommend opting for this style as they are more energy-efficient and longer-lasting.

- Ensure the floor below the light is protected as dust may fall

How to hang a Chandelier?

We recommend a qualified electrician installs your new Chandelier. Your electrician will be able to adjust your fitting upon installation.
