Wall lights – don’t assume they are not for you…
Is wall lighting ‘mood’ or ‘romantic’?
Nowadays, many rooms have one or several large pictures or photographs hanging on walls. These need to be shown off and you can achieve this with well situated picture lights, spreading just the right amount of light over the wall area you want.
Often this will be enough to let you sit and relax under the gentle wall light given off around a picture. This mood lighting can almost be romantic by its very nature.
Wall lights are a great way of introducing more light into a room and can totally enhance the decoration and furniture layout.
There is no direct glare and uplighters will illuminate the ceiling area, offering up adequate wall light in a hall, living room, lounge or even a dining room to set the mood you want.
In more traditionally built houses, wall lights often feature in living rooms where picture lights can also be situated around a number of pictures - highlighting their features whilst giving subtle lighting around the whole room area. This can often be complemented by the warm glow coming from a fireplace.
Functional as well as nice...
In the bathroom, you can opt for wall lights that are either uplighters or downlighters. Both are very functional and add a touch of modern living style with finishes in polished chrome complemented with either clear or diffused shades. Our bathroom lights are all IP rated for your safety.
